Secondary Objectives: * To assess the effects of Sotagliflozin 200 mg and 400 mg versus placebo with respect to additional measures of glycemic control, blood pressure, and body weight. * To evaluate the safety of Sotagliflozin 200 mg and 400 mg versus placebo.
